Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026. Clear, transparent terms outlining our commitments and client expectations.

1. Scope of Work & Fixed Price Contracts

Every project undertaken by SnapTech is governed by a mutually agreed written Statement of Work (SOW) specifying deliverables, milestones, delivery dates, and fixed costs before development begins.

Any changes or additions requested outside the agreed SOW will be estimated in writing for client approval prior to execution.

2. Intellectual Property & Full Code Ownership

Upon receipt of final milestone payment, full intellectual property rights, source code repositories, database schemas, custom assets, and deployment configurations are transferred 100% to the client.

SnapTech retains no proprietary lock-in, recurring software license claims, or backend encryption keys. Open-source libraries used (e.g., Next.js, PostgreSQL) remain subject to their respective standard permissive open-source licenses (MIT/Apache 2.0).

3. Milestone Payments & Invoicing

Payments are structured in milestone tranches tied directly to verifiable project phases (e.g. discovery approval, staging prototype demonstration, final production deployment). Invoices are payable via bank transfer or approved commercial payment methods within 14 days of issue.

4. 30-Day Post-Launch Warranty

SnapTech provides a standard 30-day post-launch warranty on all custom software builds. During this period, any bugs, calculation discrepancies, or deviations from the agreed specifications are corrected promptly at zero additional cost.

5. Limitation of Liability

While we engineer systems for high security and 99.98% reliability, SnapTech is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from third-party hosting outages, upstream payment gateway downtime, or unapproved modifications made to source code by third parties post-handover.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
